Colleen Wowak is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri and Kansas (LSCSW) with over 20 years of experience working with children and families. She has worked in child welfare, pediatric emergency room and adult hospital settings and therefore recognizes the impact of mental health on physical health and the importance of addressing both facets of wellbeing. Colleen is passionate about helping children, teenagers, adults and families recognize their inherent strengths, reach their full potential and develop coping strategies. It takes courage and vulnerability to seek counseling and Colleen will use an eclectic approach to counseling with the understanding that the individual is the best resource in building the kind of life they want.

Colleen received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2003. Colleen is married with three children and loves her Westie, Charlie. Colleen enjoys all things sports, especially watching her three boys play sports year round.
