Deb is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 24 years of experience working with children and families. She received her Masters degree from the University of Missouri in 1999. She is a certified grief informed provider and a certified clinical trauma professional. She has worked in the school setting, residential care, hospice and hospital social work providing crisis intervention, therapeutic intervention and community engagement. She believes that every individual has the capacity for growth and resilience.

Deb’s therapeutic approach is dynamic, authentic and integrative drawing from evidenced based approaches such as CBT, DBT and ACT. She uses a strengths based, solutions focused model. By incorporating these models, she is able to equip clients with tools and strategies to improve overall wellbeing. Deb is a dedicated advocate for mental health and de stigmatizing mental health awareness.

Deb is most passionate about working with clients aged 14 and up who are interested in trying out a new approach to their life. She is passionate about helping adolescents with the transition to adulthood and assisting women become more empowered and independent.

Deb is married, has raised 3 children, and is a boxer dog lover, She also enjoys traveling, being with family and friends, and being outdoors or near water. She is a 2-time cancer survivor, thriving and advocating for health and wellness both physically and emotionally.
