Jen is a Master of Social Work student from Grand Canyon University. She has her Masters of Education in Mental Health Practices in Schools from the University of Missouri and Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University. Jen has been a passionate educator for 19 years and currently teaches for North Kansas City Schools. Jen has always had a passion for mental health, but her purpose became clear after the tragic brain cancer diagnosis and death of her 5-month-old son, Wyatt. She has a strong desire for teaching resilience and coping skills to her students, children of all ages, and adults. Jen believes in meeting clients where they are and supporting them on their journey of healing, strength, and becoming the best versions of themselves.

In her free time, Jen enjoys baking and playing with her 3-year-old son, Gregory. She also loves sports, being outside, and reading. Jen is a dedicated mom, teacher, and student therapist who believes in being present and living life to its fullest.
