Jennifer Cunningham brings over three years of dedicated service to Healing Grace Counseling Center, where she serves as a beacon of compassion and expertise in the field of mental health counseling. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, Jennifer combines academic rigor with practical wisdom to empower individuals on their journey towards holistic wellness.

Jennifer's commitment to her profession is not only reflected in her educational background but also in her personal experiences. As a devoted wife and mother of two – including a proud son who recently returned from service in the Army and an enthusiastic daughter immersed in the world of soccer – Jennifer understands firsthand the complexities of navigating life's challenges while nurturing personal growth and resilience.

Specializing in anxiety, depression, grief, and affair recovery, Jennifer employs a tailored approach rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy and attachment theory.  Jennifer uses her Gottman training to guide her work with couples.  Her empathetic demeanor and unwavering support create a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, confront barriers, and cultivate meaningful change.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jennifer finds solace in the pages of a good book and the tranquility of her garden. These passions not only rejuvenate her spirit but also enrich her capacity to connect with others on a deeper level. Through her dedication to continuous learning and personal growth, Jennifer remains steadfast in her mission to foster healing, resilience, and hope within the community.
