Julie Eubanks Battle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri (LCSW) and Kansas (LSCSW) with over 30 years of experience working with children and families. She has worked in child welfare and hospital settings as a social worker, providing support, crisis intervention and resource referral to those experiencing trauma, grief and loss.

Julie is an experienced clinician, having held a private practice since 2009. Julie has worked with children, adults, couples and families, doing individual, family and couples counseling. Julie is also a qualified mediator and has experience in the development of parenting plans and mediation for the purposes of co-parenting, divorce and/or custody cases. Julie is experienced in providing court ordered supervised visitation.

Julie also has experience in adoptions. She has completed adoption home studies and provided therapy for families who are placing their children for adoption and families who are receiving children for adoption.

Julie is a proponent of Trauma Informed Approaches to care and believes people are the experts of their own lives, but that sometimes, we all need some assistance in order to tap into our own resources and insight. Julie utilizes an eclectic approach to counseling, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths Based and Solution Focused interventions to assist clients in meeting their goals. 

Julie is also currently working on certification for Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) Approach and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals (EFIT).

Julie received her Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002. She has been married to husband, Umeme, since 20011 and between them they have three children - two sons and a daughter. They are also pet parents to two dogs and three cats. Julie enjoys traveling with her husband as well as going to concerts and Chiefs games in her spare time. Julie also enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, going to the movies and reading.
