Julie Holland

Julie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association. Julie has over ten years of experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis, primarily in community mental health. Julie enjoys working with both adolescent/teens, adults, and couples. Julie has five years of experience working with individuals that have experienced various forms of abuse, primarily domestic violence, and believes that counseling is a way to heal and grow. Julie graduated from a CACREP accredited University: University of Central Missouri with her Masters Degree in Counseling. Julie believes that people are the experts on themselves, and is passionate about working with individuals that experience anxiety, wanting to improve their self-esteem, and increase their communication skills. Julie's friends and family would describe her as funny, caring, genuine, straight-forward and personable. Julie thinks of herself as compassionate, persistent, and flexible, focusing on the individuals needs that she is working with, and individualizing interventions. Some of Julie's favorite things to do are spend time with family and friends, snuggle with her cats, and cook.
