 Nikki Fryer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 27 years experience working with children and families. She has worked in child welfare and hospital settings providing support, crisis intervention and resource referrals to those experiencing trauma, grief and loss. Nikki also worked with a Child Advocacy Center as a Forensic Interviewer/Extended Forensic Evaluator working with child victims of abuse, neglect and witness to traumatic events. She is an experienced clinician and has been providing counseling to children, adults, and the elderly since 2011.   

Nikki is a proponent of Trauma Informed Approaches to care and believes people are the experts of their own lives, but that sometimes, we all need some assistance in order to tap into our own resources and insight. Nikki utilizes an eclectic approach to counseling, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths Based and Solution Focused interventions to assist clients in meeting their goals.

Nikki received her Master’s Degree from The University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008. She has 2 young adult children; a son and a daughter, a 6 year old granddaughter, and a Maltese Shih Tzu, Izzie. She loves spending time with her family and friends, being on the water, reading, and traveling.
